1.  I’m currently counting down the days until our new refrigerator arrives.  There are still 6 more left to go. It’s nothing fancy, but seeing as how it will actually have room in it for food, I’m pretty darn excited. Also, since Piper broke the bottom shelf in our fridge two weeks ago (Read: Glass everywhere! Praise Jesus she didn’t get hurt.), we’ve been working with a too-small-for-us-fridge that’s missing parts.  Needless to say, I’m pretty excited knowing that in 6 short days I won’t have to keep my milk in the crisper anymore.

2.  I’ve been working on gathering some new home tours for Home Made Lovely, which will be coming back in September. I can’t wait to share all the new inspiration!  I’m also working on a new segment of the Home Made Lovely series called Room Made Lovely, as a way to feature tours of individual rooms. I feel like it’s important since making a home lovely happens one room at a time.

3. I’m so happy to finally be able to wear my favorite glasses again.  I made the mistake of getting the anti-reflective coating on them, and about 6 months after buying them the coating was completely scratched and discolored.  Since then I’ve been wearing a different pair of Ray-Bans that I like, just not as much as these.  Well, inspiration struck the other night and I decided to Google the sitch.  Wouldn’t you know, I found a DIY solution to my problem.  I followed the instructions and 5 minutes later my glasses were good as new!  See ya later crummy coating, I’m pretty excited to see you go.



4.  I’ve really been enjoying the slower pace of our mornings this summer and I’m pretty excited that we still have 2 more weeks left of them.  I’m a sucker for strawberries, whip cream, and pancakes in the morning, not to mention the whole sleeping in factor.
