Just One Minute

Untitled
Have you ever had one of those seasons when life seems to be moving at record speed, and all you want to do is just stand still for one solid minute?  That is the story of my life right now.

I’m doing my best to remind myself that this season really will eventually come to end, and when it does I’ll be able to resume the slower pace of life I love so very much.  In the meantime though, I’m making sure I grab ahold of every one of those solitary minutes of stillness I can find.

Take My Picture

trees and yarn
It’s not everyday we see a yarn bombed tree around here,

so when I heard her say, ”Momma, take my picture!”  I happily obliged.

I’m so glad I did.

A Lovely Week

IMG_4108
The kids were on Spring Break last week, so we spent as much time outside as we possibly could.  We went to the zoo, played on the slip & slide, and rode bikes (Piper’s first big girl bike ride!). And since the kids got along like two peas in a pod for 4 out of the 5 days, it was a really lovely week.

Here’s hoping this week is just as lovely!

Pure Joy

Bubble love
Sunshine, bare feet and a new bubble maker fill her with joy.

Today I’m linking up with Shauna at The Reed Life for Frame this Moment, a weekly challenge to capture the little moments of life that tell our story.
